Cab Booking Cancellation Rules
CabPoint understands that travel plans can change. This Cancellation Policy explains how cancellation requests, booking changes and related charges are handled for local, airport, outstation, group and special travel bookings.
Customer Cancellation
You can request cancellation by contacting CabPoint through phone or another confirmed booking channel. Please provide your booking details so the team can identify and cancel the correct journey.
Vehicle Specific and Special Bookings
Tempo Traveller, wedding car, corporate, event, multi-day or other specially arranged bookings may involve advance commitments. Cancellation charges, if applicable, may depend on costs already committed for that booking.
No Show or Unreachable Customer
If the vehicle reaches the agreed pickup point and the customer cannot be contacted or does not arrive within a reasonable waiting period, the booking may be treated as a no-show and applicable charges may be payable.
Airport Transfer Cancellation
For airport bookings, customers should cancel as early as possible. Charges may apply when a driver or vehicle has already been assigned or dispatched.
Outstation Trip Cancellation
Outstation bookings may involve driver allocation, permits or advance route planning. Any cancellation charge will consider the booking stage and reasonable costs already incurred.
Wedding Corporate and Event Travel
Special-event transport may require vehicle reservation in advance. Any booking-specific cancellation terms communicated at confirmation will apply to that reservation.
Cancellation by CabPoint
CabPoint may cancel or rearrange a booking if service cannot be provided safely or legally, or because of vehicle breakdown, road restrictions, severe weather, driver unavailability or other exceptional circumstances. We will make reasonable efforts to inform the customer and discuss available alternatives.
Refunds Booking Changes and Charges
Refund Eligibility
If a customer has paid an amount in advance, any eligible refund will be determined after deducting applicable cancellation charges or non-recoverable costs related to the booking.
Tolls Parking Permits and Other Costs
Non-refundable third-party costs already paid for a confirmed trip, such as permits, parking arrangements or similar charges, may be deducted where applicable and reasonably attributable to the booking.
Advance and Deposit Payments
Advance or deposit payments may be subject to booking-specific cancellation conditions, especially for group travel, wedding cars, corporate travel or vehicles reserved for a specific date.
Custom and Multi-Day Trips
Custom routes and multi-day bookings can involve dedicated vehicle scheduling. Any cancellation terms communicated when confirming such a booking will form part of that booking arrangement.
Refund Method
Approved refunds are generally returned through an appropriate available payment method. Processing time may depend on the bank, payment provider and original mode of payment.
How to Cancel
Call CabPoint at 9355666870 or use the same confirmed communication channel used for your booking.
Refund Processing Time
CabPoint will initiate an approved refund within a reasonable period after cancellation review. The time for funds to appear may vary by bank or payment provider.
Changing a Booking
Changes to date, time, route, pickup location, vehicle type or passenger count are subject to availability and may change the quoted fare.
After Driver Dispatch
If a driver or vehicle has already been dispatched, reasonable trip-related or cancellation charges may apply even when the journey does not proceed.
Exceptional Circumstances
CabPoint may review cancellation charges case by case when severe weather, road closure, government restriction or another exceptional situation materially affects the journey.
